The Annual Business Meeting was held via Zoom on Wed. July 19th. Led by newly elected Board President Neha Patel, the meeting recapped the efforts of the board and organization over the past year, along with goals for the future. The 2022-2023 board are proud to report their successful efforts to retain membership as we continue to recover from the effects of the pandemic. They launched a new Mastermind Program, providing a new source of income for the organization, and also worked to implement a system to strengthen the institutional memory of WBN and maintain consistency as the organization moves forward. 

Although we were still feeling the ripple effects of the pandemic, the board was able to achieve some increases in revenue in the 2022-2023 business year. While a loss was reflected on the overall budget, the board is taking immediate steps to recover those funds in the upcoming year. Possibilities include a small increase in annual dues and implementing more events. A survey was emailed after the meeting to ask members’ thoughts on these ideas. Please note that you do not have to have attended the meeting to fill out the survey.
