Fashion for Hope & Annual Awards Ceremony
Recap

The Fashion for Hope & Annual Awards Ceremony took place on May 11th, with ladies from several chapters in attendance.

Hosted by the Cranberry Chapter, Sally Power of the Wexford Chapter gave us a look at some of the stunning items available at Treasure House Fashion, with WBN members Nancy Wood, Mimi Auchter, and Kehle Murphy added flair & grace to the event as some of the evening’s models.

The much-anticipated 2023 annual awards recipients were revealed during the event. A round of applause for the winners: Theresa Hutchinson from the Cranberry Chapter, distinguished as WBN Woman of the Year. Service Person of the Year was awarded to Nancy Boyer from the Murrysville Chapter, and Rising Star accolades went to Julie Snyder, also of the Murrysville Chapter.

Young Adult Survivors United was introduced as the new beneficiary of the Service Project, a group that provides emotional, social, and monetary assistance, aspiring to enhance the lives of young adult cancer survivors and their primary caregivers.

The event attendees had fun exploring the home and chatting with vendors in a quest to fill their Vendor Passport. A delicious spread of appetizers & small bites was available for everyone, and ample time was set aside for networking in the open-air patio area, made cozy with fireplaces. A hearty thank you to the Cranberry Chapter for your efforts!
