2024 Annual Dinner Recap and Awards
Hosted by the Norwin Chapter
The 2024 Annual Dinner took place on May 2nd at the Lamplighter Inn located in Delmont. Hosted by the Norwin Chapter, the theme for the evening was “A Bouquet of Business”, which the Norwin ladies executed flawlessly with stunning floral centerpieces and custom name tags with beautiful blossoms to denote the members of the hosting chapter.
Kelly Mazon was honored as the 2024 Woman of the Year. Co-owner of Family Floors in Pitcairn, Kelly has been a member of WBN for 15 years as a part of the Murrysville Chapter. She currently serves on the WBN Special Event Committee, is the Murrysville Chapter Rep, and is running for her second term on the WBN Board of Directors. In addition to her involvement with WBN, Kelly has also been a part of forming the non-profit organization Monticello Lights, which was not only featured on The Today Show, but also raised over $15,000 for local charities in 2023.
The first recipient of the newly-named Jo Luncher Service Award (formerly known as the WBN Service Award) is Dr. Danielle Marra Patts of Panther Functional Medicine & Chiropractic. As a member of WBN for more than 15 years, Dr. Danielle has been an integral part of the WBN Murrysville Chapter. She is not only the founding member of the Murrysville Chapter, but also a consistent source of new member referrals.
Chelsey Salatino of the Penn-Trafford Chapter snags the title of the 2024 Rising Star. A member of WBN for more than three years, Chelsey is in Financial Services at First Commonwealth Bank. In her time as a member, Chelsey has been a strong voice in advocating for the initiatives of the Women’s Business Network and fostering a supportive environment in which women entrepreneurs can thrive.
Heidi Beam, Master Certified Life Coach was the recipient of the 2024 WBN Jean Walsh Scholarship! Established in 1994, the scholarship assists WBN members with improving their knowledge base within their business field. Heidi, a member of the Murrysville Chapter and part of WBN for five years, has served on the Board of Directors, Special Events Committee, Policy Committee, and Awards Committee. She plans to use her scholarship to invest in several courses in identifying the ideal client, how to retain clients, and strategizing her business plan as a CEO plan for her business.
