<p>The Butler area chapter of WBN is looking for new members! Our chapter is brand new, having just formed a few months ago. We are looking for enthusiastic women business professionals who are interested in building up their business by networking with other women who are just as passionate as they are! Our chapters have exclusive membership so you will not have to be competing with another member in your chapter. Right now we have many, many categoreis open! Please contact the chapter rep for more detaisl!</p>
<p>When and Where: The Butler chapter meets at Dingbats in Butler (beside Get Go) the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at noon.</p>
<p>How the meetings work: Each member will do a 30 second commercial at the beginning of the meeting, so please have one prepared. If you are coming as a guest we would love for you to do a commercial as well so we can learn about your business! We will go over anything that is on the agenda the chapter chairperson has prepared and one member will do a 20 minute detailed presentation on their business. This is necessary to make sure each member understands what you do so we can properly send referrals your way- which is why we are all here!!!</p>
<p>We would LOVE to meet you and I personally invite you to come as a guest and see if you enjoy our networking process&#8230;you can even bring a friend!! Just please contact the chapter rep in advance so we know how many people to expect.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif">If you missed the Chapter Leadership Training (and the food), please see Mary, Veronica, or Melissa and they can fill you in on the topics covered and how we can make our chapter even better.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Somethings the other chapters do at their meetings:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Have “Tell Your Story” time.  At each meeting 1 or 2 people get up and tell all about themselves, their past, how they came to the professional position they are in, their families, etc.  This allows members to learn about each other as individuals and not just business acquaintances.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Have a summer picnic as an annual chapter get together event.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Meet at a restaurant that does ongoing fundraisers.  Everyone purchases food, then for example, 20% goes back to the chapter to use for charity.</span></li>
</ul>
