Hello and welcome to the McMurray Chapter of the WBN! The McMurray Chapter currently has 16 members and meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 8:30 am to 10:15 am in the bowling alley at the Meadows Racetrack on Racetrack Road in Washington, PA. For the first fifteen minutes our members network, then promptly at 8:45 am the formal meeting begins.
The McMurray Chapter supports the Domestic Violence Services of Western Pennsylvania (formerly the Washington Women’s Shelter) throughout the year with various donations. We hosted a bowling party for friends, family, acquaintances, and business associates in September 2011 to benefit the shelter. The ‘entrance fee’ for the event was a bucket of cleaning products, which were donated to the shelter. We all had a great time and supported a great cause. In March 2012, our chapter will help support Think Pink with a Pajama Party on March 24th. We will collect new pajamas to be donated for the women and their families who use the shelter’s services.
