2010 Woman of the Year

Charlotte Kaltenbaugh, of Cranberry Township, was the recipient of the Women’s Business Network’s (WBN) 2010 Woman of the Year Award. This honor is awarded to one member annually and recognizes the individual who has best demonstrated excellence and leadership in her business or profession and in her service to the community and WBN.

Charlotte is an Independent Sales Consultant for Sabika Austrian Crystal Jewelry. She has received awards for consistent performance and is regularly acknowledged as a monthly top sales performer with Sabika. She truly is dedicated to making women feel beautiful, helping them realize their potential and bringing women together. Charlotte enjoys bringing the shop to the shopper, whether it is a Trunk show in a private home, a one on one consultation or a fundraiser, Charlotte creatively and enthusiastically works with women to help them sparkle! She helps and supports other women, especially those new to a business or networking, connect with others to build their business.

Charlotte has served on the Board of Directors of WBN, as Chairperson of the Growth Committee and is active in many other business and community groups. She is a member of the Italian Sons & Daughters of America and the Ateleta Women’s Society. She is Chairperson for Saint Ferdinand’s White Elephant Sale, and has conducted fundraisers for St John’s Specialty Care Center, Autism Speaks, Crisis Center North, and The Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, St. Jude’s Research Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House.

Among Charlotte’s biggest supporters are her husband Don, and their two children.

This year’s Woman of the year award was presented at Bella Sera’s by Grecco in Canonsburg on May 6th. Women’s Business Network has approximately 350 members from Southwestern Pennsylvania and is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build an effective organization of women business owners and professionals committed to the integrity of performance and service, as well as, the creative exchange of business.
