2009 Woman of the Year
Mary Ann Nudi Burge, of West View, was the recipient of the Women’s Business Network’s (WBN) 2009 Woman of the Year Award. This honor is awarded to one member annually and recognizes the individual who has best demonstrated excellence and leadership in her business or profession and in her service to the community and WBN.
Mary Ann is the owner of The Print Shop at Office Things, a commercial and personal print and copy company located in Mars, Pennsylvania. Her business has thrived for the last 30 years due to her philosophy of offering exceptional customer service and solid community relationship building. She helps other business people connect through networking in the areas of education, support and revenue for their success.
Mary Ann has been a member of Women’s Business Network for over 20 years and currently is a member of the Seven Fields Chapter. She is a member of the Executive Board of St. Paul of the Cross Retreat Center and also a member of the Guatemala Mission Group from St. Richard’s Parish in Gibsonia where she works to improve the lives of orphans and students in the Village of Patzum, Guatemala.
Mary Ann’s biggest passion is her family consisting of her husband Steve, three children, five stepchildren and nine grandchildren, along with a wonderful assortment of their spouses and fiancée’s.
This year’s Woman of the Year Award was presented at the WBN Annual Dinner held on May 7th at The Willow Room in Belle Vernon. Women’s Business Network has approximately 400 members from the Southwestern Pennsylvania area and is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build an effective organization of women business owners and professionals committed to integrity of performance and service, as well as, the creative exchange of business.
