Marcie O’Brien (Greensburg Chapter)
Marcie O’Brien of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, was recipient of the Women’s Business Network Inc. (WBN) 2017 Service Award. This honor is awarded annually to one member who has distinguished herself by meritorious service in the furthering of WBN, its mission and goals.
Ms. O’Brien is a Merchandiser for Chloe + Isabel which is a jewelry/lifestyle brand and a pioneer of social retail, dedicated to empowering the next generation of women entrepreneurs. Additional career endeavors include her position as Catering Director for Chick-fil-A Greengate Centre located in Greensburg. She has also spent time as the Marketing Coordinator for Metal Photo Service, Inc. and as the Membership Coordinator for the Norwin Chamber of Commerce.
Marcie is an active member of the WBN – she is a member of the Greensburg Chapter, and also serves on the Executive Board as Vice President. As a member of several local chambers of commerce, she currently serves as Vice Chair of the Ambassador Committee and is a member of the Staff Appreciation Luncheon committee for the Westmoreland Chamber. Spare time is rare, but when the opportunity arises she enjoys mentoring her fellow Chloe + Isabel merchandisers and spending time with her husband, Jerry, and two children, Rachel who will be a senior at the University of Pittsburgh and Alex who will be a Freshman at Duquesne University.
