2014 Service Award
The Service Award is awarded to a member who greatly distinguished herself by meritorious service in the furthering of WBN, it’s mission and goals.
Jennifer Bibb, Office Manager with First Commonwealth Bank, was the recipient of the Women’s Business Network 2014 Service Award. This honor is awarded annually to one member who has distinguished herself by meritorious service in the furthering of WBN, its mission and goals.
When walking into a WBN networking event, Jen is always doing something to help. She has been seen at the registration desk, helping with check-in, even for events where her chapter is not the host. She is accessible to members of WBN by phone or email to answer questions, give guidance, and solve problems or just listen.
She serves on the Growth, Education, Membership, Strategic Planning and the 25th Anniversary Planning Committees. She has been serving on the WBN Board for the past several years, first as Treasurer, and currently as its President.
Jennifer has been with First Commonwealth Bank since 2005. She is currently the Office Manager of their McKeesport office. Jennifer works closely with her clients to build strong relationships with those in her community. Her strong lending background has enabled her to help her clients achieve their financial goals through refinancing, consolidation, and obtaining new credit. She has been recognized with several honors for exceeding loan production goals. She also works with schools, groups of families and children, to educate them on the importance of managing their finances.
In addition to being a member of the Mt. Lebanon chapter of WBN, she also serves as a volunteer for several non-profit organizations including Dress for Success, Junior Achievement, Strong Women Strong Girls, and South Hills Interfaith Ministries. Her spare time is filled with golfing, reading and playing and attending sporting events.
This year’s Service Award was presented at the WBN Annual Dinner held on May 1st. Women’s Business Network was founded in 1989 and has over 450 members in 29 chapters located across Southwestern Pennsylvania. WBN’s mission is to provide personal and professional resources to advance the presence of aspiring and successful businesswomen.
